How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2017 Nissan Murano, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA universal-fit towing mirror, which is also sold as a set. Whenever we use a towing mirror, it's really going to expand our field of view, and that can be especially useful whenever we're making lane changes, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a better eye on what's going on behind us. So to give you an example, as you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror, but not in our factory mirror. And that's just how much more you're going to be able to see. But if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror. more

It offers us a wide field view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park or even back up while towing a small trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror.Now, our towing mirror has two mirrors. The larger one is going to give us an accurate reading of what's behind us while the smaller mirror is going to help us during changing lanes and passing.Now, if I take a few steps in towards my trailers, you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up. more

As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror.The mirror can be adjusted to most angles. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Murano we'll be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, K Source Universal Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. Here at the back of our trailer, we have clear visibility in our factory mirror, but if I step out to the side, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to help whenever trying to pass vehicles on the highway, or trying to park our trailer. Our towing mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view to whatever we need. It's going to secure using the four tabs, and two straps to the back. Our straps are going to have a rubber coating to prevent any scratches or abrasions, and ratchet down to give us a nice, secure fit. With our K Source mirror installed, we can partially fold in our factory mirror to get into those tight spaces. more

CIPA Clamp On Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Nissan Murano- Video
Today, on our 2016 Nissan Murano, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Cipa Universal Towing Mirror, part number: CM11980. Here, at our trailer, we have a clear visibility to the back of our trailer in our factory mirror; but if I step out to the side, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to help whenever we're trying to pass vehicles on the highway or trying to park our trailer. Our mirror is fully adjustable, to change our field of view. We can also lengthen our field of view to the side if we undo our nut, here at the top, and widen our field of view even more. You always want to make sure that you do tighten down your nut, once you get it into your desired position. Our mirror's secured with two tabs that fit into our housing. We're going to have rubber padding on the clamps that secure to our mirror. We would just loosen and tighten it using the turn knobs at the top. more
